Meet Our Passionate Social Media Manager, Khanh (Alice) Le

Alice Le is a social media strategist who is passionate about technology and art. She is a Vietnam native who is currently studying communications and informatics at the University of Washington. Since officially joining Remmie Health in September this year, Alice has been building brand awareness via social media channels and spreading out the company's mission by creating fun and engaging content.

This summer, Alice was bridged with Remmie Health through a volunteering program by UW Communication Department's COVID-19 consulting program for Seattle's small businesses. She was first introduced to help the company work on short-term marketing and communication projects. After three weeks of volunteering, Alice officially joined the marketing team as her works have successfully proved her potential in social media management -- She has increased its social engagement by 200% since joining.

Alice found herself fit in the position by working on social media at Remmie. “I like working here because it’s a welcoming environment. I can contribute all the skills that I’m having right now.”  With a background in digital marketing and graphic design, Alice started by organizing social media calendars and creating content. She also proposed marketing strategies for different social media platforms to better serve customers on the digital end. “For Instagram, I focus on creating content about telemedicine and ENT problems because content can make our Instagram an educational account, and it can benefit our followers to know more about ear infections.”

Working at Remmie means more than a job to Alice, the support and recognition from the team motivated Alice to join Remmie. “I feel this is like a family and they (team members) are my friends,” said Alice. Her opinions and ideas were fully-considered by other team members since she worked at Remmie. Instead of being ordered to do a project in a particular style, Alice could decide what she thinks are best practices for social media.

Joining Remmie also means having more opportunities to grow herself. “Working in a startup like Remmie makes me able to try different tasks and projects. I want to keep going in the marketing field, so working with the marketing director and other teams is really helpful for me to learn,” said Alice. Being a social media manager now, Alice is making herself level up to be a well-rounded marketing professional in the near future.
